You Gave $1,000,000 in Six Weeks
In December we challenged you to help eight local nonprofits close out their end-of-year fundraising campaigns, totaling more than $1MM.
These campaigns included saving the lives of mothers around the world, renovating houses on the brink of becoming uninhabitable, and equipping students to overcome the hurdles standing in the way of success.
Whether you saw our challenge or not, you answered. Nearly 2,000 donors stepped up to make this happen. Which proves the all-too-common-yet-oft-discarded axiom – “Every little bit matters.”
This is what it looks like when a community comes together to impact causes that matter. Keep doing your thing, Triangle. Continue to look for opportunities to strengthen our vibrant nonprofit scene.
